Diagnostics
We have a wide array of diagnostic tests, including EMG/nerve conduction testing, routine EEG, ambulatory EEG, qEEG, Xray, brain CT scan, and VNG testing.
MeRT, rTMS
Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy, or MeRT, is a form of highly customized repetitive TMS, which uses gentle magnetic waves to restore brain function and connectivity.
Physical Therapy
Also known as physiotherapy, this treatment promotes, maintains, or restores health through patient education, physical intervention, and rehabilitation.
Aquatic Therapy

Meet the Medical Director
Gilbert Mbeo, MD is a triple board-certified physician who specializes in Neurology, NeuroIntensive Care, and Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Mbeo has over 13 years of experience providing evidence-based, high-quality care to patients with acute neurological needs. This includes acute stroke, neuromuscular respiratory failure, status epilepticus, and brain and spinal cord trauma.
Dr. Mbeo is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), Society for Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Neurocritical Care Society (NCS), and Clinical Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Society (CTMSS). Additionally, he has published several articles in national and international publications.
In his current role, he is the Medical Director and Founder of the Brain, Spine, Pain Institute of Lake Nona, Orlando, which is also an authorized BrainCare Performance Center.
Dr. Mbeo’s vision was to establish a state-of-the-art facility that used cutting-edge interventions in order to enhance neurological recovery in brain-injured patients.
As a NeuroIntensivist, Dr. Mbeo saw firsthand the life-changing consequences of brain injuries such as head trauma, strokes, and other brain injuries. This troubled him because, even though with modern medicine we were getting better at saving lives, many patients with brain injury had severe disabilities.
Dr. Mbeo’s vision was to establish a state-of-the-art facility that used cutting-edge interventions to enhance neurological recovery in brain-injured patients.
We established this clinic to employ non-invasive tools, as well as using interventions like cognitive rehabilitation and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
